MSI introduce two new computers All-In-One PC, the Wind Top AE200 and AE220 . The two models are distinguished essentially to the envelope, in particular as regards the choice of the APU available, the most powerful in the case AE220. The remaining features are rather common, starting looking, which is typical of many MSI All-In-One, with the frame of the screen surrounded by a transparent insert that doubles as a stand. The lines are pleasing, clean and sleek, and both models are available in the color white or black, always with a glossy finish.
The display have a diagonal of 19.5″ or 22″, the first resolution HD+ (1600 x 900 pixels) and the second also Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels), with or without multitouch panel and anti-glare treatment. The backlight is LED instead. As we said in the opening one of the most interesting features of these AIO is to be equipped with a new technology, flicker-free, able to significantly reduce the flickering of the backlight, making it more relaxing for people who spend many hours in front of the display. Even the LCD panels in fact have a flicker, mainly due to the adjustment of the supply voltages of the backlight. Normally a LCD LED has a refresh rate of 200 MHz per second, which translates, within one working day type, in 5 million flicker. Instead using a different technology than the PWM (Pulse Width Modulation), which inserts small breaks in feeding, you get a backlight much more homogeneous and stable in time, with an eye fatigue much more content.
For the rest of the MSI Wind Top AE200 will find the new members of the Kabini APU AMD E series, combined with dedicated video cards AMD Radeon HD 8000 series and a traditional hard drive 500 GB, while the AE220 uses both an E2-3000 APU that a more powerful A4-5000 . Also notable is the audio of both models, with Creative Sound Blaster Cinema technology. The two AIO then provide an HDMI output, USB 2.0 type is, even with super charger function to charge external devices even with the computer on standby, as 3.0, optical drive and a choice of operating systems Microsoft Windows 7 and Windows 8 .Currently lacking information about prices and availability.
